I entered the 5 on 5 bboy battles with my fam- (the order we went out in the clip below) dj “illicit,” morpheus, reese, & blakk – we did well but not enough to have advanced against art of movement (seattle) in the first round of the competition. We realized immediately after what we need to work on. Peep the shirts tho! yea the 9 looks like a 3 its the font! online it looks better but it came out different on the shirt
WORLD OF DANCE – SAN MATEO was a success! SKOOL DISTRICT GOT 3RD PLACE! We were 2 points short of taking 1st! – one out of five judges gave us a low score of 78/100 -22 points off because our transitions weren’t “smooth” for her apparently. Still (majority) freestyle dancers placing in a choreo competition – and we collaborated less than 24 hours before the event!!

EXTREME UPDATE haha!
It’s been awhile since I last blogged, I’m goin to summarize some events that have happened since the last time I blogged.
-ACADEMY OF VILLAINS (SS 2nd GEN) DEBUT @ COLLABORATION 7/24
-WON THE 2v2 BBOY COMPETITION @ HOT IMPORT NIGHTS PLEASANTON, CA 7/25; CLOUD 9 TRIBE’s: BLAKK & MYSELF
-Camped @ Lake Berryessa; I was sick on the way there. Got better since I slept the whole day that I was supposed to be packing grocery shoppin and a bunch of other things. And slept the whole way there (while my friend was lost cuz it was dark when we were looking for the camp site. We didnt get a boat for our 2nd day there cuz one of our friends was told that we didnt need to reserve one by the clerk at the store/boat rental office. It was hot and we drank, played some catch phrase, and I slept a lot while we were there haha!

-Fall semester started, getting my AA degree FINALLY! Still will have a few classes to take in order to get into some radiology programs around the bay.
-Took 2nd Place in a small dance competition @ Great Mall, Milpitas, CA hosted by Wild 94.9, a SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE PROMO…the grand prize was a Nintendo Wii + Wii Fit

Trust
